Mentorship Guidance Program

All the stages of the program are stepping stones called the “Guide Path”.  Every step on this path has been streamlined through a process with a measurable outcome. The destination of the Guide Path or the goal of Mentorship is to create young leaders and budding entrepreneurs by making the student understand that:

Introduction on Mentorship:

Mentoring is being recognized across the globe as a powerful tool of human resource development. The fast changing industry perspectives in post-liberalization period in India expects management education institutions to keep pace with the fast changes on management requirements; to produce “readily deployable, industry ready professionals”.

The Indian management education system also faces challenges. Students are not meeting the readily employable standards. There is a big gap between what the graduates know and what knowledge is required of them by the industry. Industry experts feel that many students lack certain important skills like problem solving, decision making, leadership and team management. Therefore, industries end-up wasting time and capital in training fresh recruits to make them industry ready.

It is the need of hour to bridge the gap between the industry and the campus and improve the quality of education rather than increase the number of institutions.

Objective of Mentorship Guidance Program:

Our focus is on the institutional ‘mission’ as a key factor of student learning experience, which is to “nurture holistic, socially responsible and continuously employable professionals”, for which we have to adopt a non - traditional approach along with a regular curriculum; to achieve the stated mission.

The benefits of mentoring on psychological, as well as career development issues are well established. Mentoring is increasingly recognized as an essential tool of human resource development. The most important benefits to students through mentoring is that it helps to provide a constructive and relentless honest feedback on one’s perceptions and actions and provides more clarity to the career.

The positive side of mentoring results in high satisfaction amongst all the participants in what they do and a greater involvement in activities which they consider as important to their career. Therefore, to achieve a more holistic career fulfillment and to prepare management graduates for the same, a new systematic mentoring approach has been considered in this Program.

Vision and Mission:

We believe that to stay ahead of a continually evolving global ethos,  students require a education which grooms them into independent and able human beings who are competent to take on the challenges in their world with skill and confidence.

Vision - To be the most sought after destination for quality management education in India.

Mission - Nurture holistic, socially responsible and continuously employable     professionals.
